Coaching Commitments & Volunteering

We Need You!

Bloomfield Hills Robotics is a volunteer-run non-profit organization. We are always looking for motivated parents, guardians, relatives and even young-professionals to help mentor our 4 levels of teams. Without volunteer coaches and mentors, we wouldn't be able to offer FIRST Robotics to our students.

How You Can Help

Whether you are technical or not, there is a place for you on one of our teams.

We offer trainings for coaches and guidelines for all other volunteer roles not limited to:

  • Head Coach
  • Assistant Coach
  • Team Photographer
  • Spirit Wear Organizing (T-shirts for competitions)
  • Food coordinator
  • Meetings supervisor (help coach with 'crowd control')
  • Team Treasurer

We're Here to Help

BH Coaches and Administrators all join a messaging platform to help each other and collaborate. We also give you support from the high school team members who have been through these younger levels of robotics and connect with the younger students!

You Get to Choose the Meeting Days

If you're a coach, you can plan meetings around your schedule! To understand how teams are formed, read the post: Bloomfield Robotics Levels.
